My whole family has taken golf lessons and participated in various golf and club events. We love the friendly, welcoming staff. They are knowledgeable and caring. They taught our teenage daughters to play and helped the whole family learn to play. We love the courses and the staff. They have helped us select equipment, loaned us clubs, and given us tips whenever we have asked before heading out to play. I would highly recommend the Lakeway membership. It is a great value.

I'm actually shooting for more of a 2.5 stars. The two courses you get with the golf membership are nice and the staff is friendly. The Yaupon and Live Oak club houses are dying for a remodel though and the golf pros are snooty but don't have the qualifications to back it up. As long as you are not looking for golf lessons, or a nice club house, Live Oak and Yaupon are for you.
PS: There is an upgraded membership to The Hills that will get you into a beautiful club house and another two courses (The Hills and Flintrock). If you added those two I would increase my rating to a 3.5, maybe a 4.Maps & Directions
